Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. Every breath we take, every step we take, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.

How could the supreme Reality be of the nature of bliss?
How could the supreme Reality be devoid of bliss?
How could the supreme Reality possess either knowledge or ignorance?
If the supreme I am is the one Existence, It’s everywhere, like space.

Understand that It’s neither fire nor air; Realize the One!
Understand that It’s neither earth nor water; Realize the One!
Understand that It neither comes nor goes; Realize the One!
Understand that It’s like space, pervading everywhere; Realize the One!

My nature is neither emptiness nor fullness.
My nature is neither pure nor impure.
I’m neither with form nor without form.
I’m the supreme Reality; my nature is uniquely my own.

Renounce, renounce the world of appearance;
Then renounce renunciation as well.
But, whether you renounce or do not renounce,
Enjoy the nectar of your natural state.

Something brought you here. Something inside is delighted to be reminded - you are nobody.
The moment that judgment stops through acceptance of what is, you are free of the mind.
When a confessed atheist provocatively asked him (Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi),
"Is there God; can you prove the existence of God?"
he smiled and replied,
"Why worry about God? Let Him worry about Himself! Find out who raises the question."
The atheist was puzzled. Sri Ramana recommended that he read the book `Who am I?' The visitor, who only wanted to stay for a few hours, ended up staying for several days. Finally he said,
"Bhagavan! When I came here as an atheist, denying God, I was happy. But, now, after asking myself the question `Who am I?' I am thoroughly confused. I feel I have deteriorated; therefore I am very unhappy."
Sri Ramana smiled at him and said,
"Your confusion is not a state of deterioration. All these days you have been indifferent to the truth behind your own existence. Now you have raised the fundamental question; thereby you have moved away from indifference. So it is only an improvement! From indifference to confusion, from confusion to clarity, from (intellectual) clarity to experience and from experience to abidance in the Self - this is the order of ascendancy in spiritual sadhana.

Sound or vibration is the most powerful force in the universe. Music is a divine art, to be used not only for pleasure
but as a path to God-realization.

The Self
"When the person in the eye resides in the body,
he resides where the organ of sight
has entered into the Akasa (i.e. the pupil of the eye);
the eye is the instrument of seeing.
He who is aware of the thought:
‘Let me smell this,’ he is the Self;
the nose is the instrument of smelling.
He who is aware of the thought:
‘Let me speak,’ he is the Self;
the tongue is the instrument of speaking.
He who is aware of the thought:
‘Let me hear,’ he is the Self;
the ear is the instrument of hearing.
"He who is aware of the thought:
‘Let me think this,’ he is the Self; the mind is his divine eye.
He, the Self sees all these desires in the World of Brahman through the divine eye, the mind and rejoices.
"The gods meditate on that Self.
Therefore all worlds belong to them and all desires.
He who knows that Self and understands It
obtains all worlds and all desires."
Thus said Prajapati, yea, thus said Prajapati.

To get at the core of God at his greatest, one must first get into the core of himself at his least, for no one can know God who has not first known himself. Go to the depths of the soul, the secret place of the Most High, to the roots, to the heights; for all that God can do is focused there.

Abandon the identification of the self with the body and behold the consciousness that knits together all the beings that exist in the universe.
You want something like a round-the-clock ecstasy. Ecstasies come and go, necessarily, for the human brain cannot stand the tension for a long time. A prolonged ecstasy will burn out your brain unless it is extremely pure and subtle.
In nature nothing is at a standstill-everything pulsates, appears and disappears. Heart, breath, digestion, sleeping and waking, birth and death -everything comes and goes in waves. Rhythm, periodicity, harmonious alternation of extremes is the rule. [There is] no use rebelling against the very pattern of life. No particular thought can be the mind's natural state, only silence. Not the idea of silence but silence itself. When the mind is in it's natural state, it reverts to silence spontaneously after every experience or, rather, every experience happens against the background of silence.

Surrender your heart and you will know all.
Surrender to Consciousness and Bliss.
Surrender means to surrender your bondage and to simply be Freedom. Surrender is the ego bowing down to its Source. No more demands or commands, but putting all in the hands of Source. Submit to Consciousness and Bliss and you will be happy. Surrender the addiction to your senses. You don't need to stop them, but you need to have perfect control over them. Ego is a poor driver of these five horses, but the Atman charioteer will not make a mistake. Surrender the reigns of your senses to the Atman. As the river surrenders to the ocean, surrender yourself to the Self, the Source. And if you find you are still swimming on the surface of the ocean: stop swimming and you will sink into the depths of Love.

Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
When there is no more ego, there is only That. When there is still ego, there is only That.
If you have any image of what the Truth is, slay it immediately because that’s not it.
Even kings and emperors with heaps of wealth and vast dominion cannot compare with an ant filled with the Love of God.
If I could give you only one advice, I would say: Don't identify with anything. Be completely empty - no one. Be no-body and see if you lose anything but delusion.
As long as you believe you are the body-mind phenomena
you're going to have problems.
You may feel justified in having problems.
You may feel it's not your fault.
You may feel it's karmic.
You may feel all kinds of things,
but as long as you believe or you feel the body-mind,
you will have problems,
because this is the kind of world in which we live -
a world that doesn't exist, seems real to most of us.
And if we believe we are the body-mind
then we believe the world is real and
we believe we have to pray to God for solutions.
We do all these things and we still suffer.
And suffering will only stop,
not when God answers your prayers,
but when you awaken to the truth of your own being.
Then you’re born again, so-to-speak, in a new reality and all is well.

The best indicator of your level of consciousness is how you deal with life’s challenges when they come. Through those challenges, an already unconscious person tends to become more deeply unconscious, and a conscious person more intensely conscious. You can use a challenge to awaken you, or you can allow it to pull you into even deeper sleep.
People should not worry as much about what they do but rather about what they are. If they and their ways are good, then their deeds are radiant. If you are righteous, then what you do will also be righteous. We should not think that holiness is based on what we do but rather on what we are, for it is not our works which sanctify us but we who sanctify our works.
What good is it to spend your life accumulating material things? It isn't in keeping with the Tao. What benefit in conforming your behavior to someone's conventions? It violates your nature and dissipates your energy. Why separate your spiritual life and your practical life? To an integral being, there is no such distinction. Live simply and virtuously, true to your nature, drawing no line between what is spiritual and what is not.
No masters, only you, the master is you.

This body can become exhausted but the Source from where I'm speaking can never be exhausted.

because I have come to give you the most beautiful Thing,
which you don't have to pay to find,
which you don't have to go to some place to look for,
it's not hidden in the Himalayas,
it's right Here in the Center of your Being.

People’s actions no longer affect a warrior when she has no more expectations of any kind. A strange peace becomes the ruling force in her life. She has adopted one of the concepts of a warrior’s life—detachment.
Ignorance and mental activity are perpetuated by each other. When the inner intelligence is awakened, the craving for pleasure ceases. For the wise, cessation of craving for pleasure is therefore natural and effortless.
