Seeking just intoxicates you with the Ultimate Truth. Nothing else is needed when you are intoxicated with the Ultimate Truth. Life, in it’s fullest form, is experienced. The moment seeking starts, you wake up to Cosmos!

Your own existential experience is only one: your Atman.
Everything else is your perceptional experience.

In times of misery, you always experience yourself as being all alone. This is the ego at work.
In times of joy, you feel naturally connected with everyone and everything around you. When you are joyful, happy, laughing – these are the times when your ego is at its weakest.
In your present life, you may experience these moments temporarily. But meditation is going to take you to a permanent state of Bliss.

Spread more and more Satvic joy around the world. Satvic Ananda gives strength in your bio-memory. Joy destroys cunningness, joy destroys crooked thinking, joy destroys lack of integrity, gives you larger vision. Sadashiva Himself when He lands into you, He will create intense joy in your system, that is the way He will land!

'The way you behave with Sadashiva is the way He behaves with you. He is a mirror. Be integrated to it. Same way kirtan, be Integreated to it. Steps of the song will churn your stomach will put you in Bhavasamadhi. Bhava Samadhi is the only currency useful to you when out of Matrix. You will realise Sadashivoham. Doing morning Panchakriya, Guru Puja, Yoga, Satsang, Kirtan is aiming at putting you in Bhava Samadhi.'

"An onlooker tells Swamiji that he is not able to comprehend what Swamiji is saying. He tells him that he has become confused.
If life was meant to be logical, there would be only men or only women. There would be only cold or only hot. But there are both. There are always opposites; there is always a yin and yang - the male and female, the opposites.
When there is duality, there is bound to be confusion. Only when you have absorbed all confusions and all opposites, will oneness happen in you. I am not telling you to drop all confusion. I am telling you to understand and use them. For example: love and hate are two emotions in you. Now you have used both of them and a new emotion has risen in you: compassion. Compassion is both of these and something more.
This is what I go on doing. I create bridges within you between the opposites. And this is what causes the confusion. Your minds nature is to divide, so you are perfectly alright with these opposites. But the nature of life is oneness, so I am telling you to find the bridge that will connect.
The bridges are already there. You just have to look.
And I will go on creating opposites in you. If you are confused, I will make you clear. If you are clear, I will make you confused. I will go on putting you in confusion. Only when you are utterly confused, the mind will drop and suddenly there will be no more confusion, only clarity.
Confusion is a part of life. If you are not confused, you are just dull. And what will you do with certainty? Confusion is much more valuable. It means you are alive. It means you are growing.
But you never want confusion. You want certainty. You want certainty because you want security all the time. You need to feel secure. But I tell you: instead of running away from confusion, you should have the clear understanding that confusion will make you clearer.
The moment I see you settling, I will just shake the Earth beneath you. You will fall down and become frustrated and confused. The nature of the mind is to settle, but life has to move! The mind is like a stagnant pool, but life is like a river. Life is full of movement, but your mind wants to be still.
This is the reason why there is so much of struggle. Your mind wants to remain stagnant, but life has to move. As of now, you are living for the mind. So you want to become stagnant. But your inherent nature is to flow with life; to be in continuous movement.
Let you be clear: the confusion will be there. Once you come into contact with me, the confusion will come. This is because the new will start happening but the old will still be there. It will be difficult to decide whether to let the new take over or to continue with the old. The new will be chaos. The old is order. But there is a charm in the chaos, a pull. You will try to run away, but you end up running towards it!
Let the confusion be there. Do not run away from it; become aware.Once you have totally lost yourself in confusion, you will simply drop the mind.
Confusion is part of the process. It is part of the work which is done once you come to the Master. The transformation can happen only after all your old concepts and ideologies leave you. All of these ideologies are like a mesh for me to enter. Unless this mesh gives way, I cannot enter. When confusion happens, the mesh becomes so tight and complex that it has to break. When this happens, I can enter"

“Operating with intelligence is the process of going back to the innocence you were born with. It is not a process of becoming. It is not attaining something new, it is discovering your very being. It is the true door to knowing you as
you truly are.
When you are intellectual, you operate purely from the head, from logic.
Your knowledge gives you the false illusion of knowing everything that exists. It keeps you firmly rooted in the head. When your intelligence awakens, you drop from the head to the heart, from logic to love. Then, you operate neither from pure intellect nor from pure sentimental love. You operate just from loving intelligence, and you automatically radiate compassion to all of those around you.”
“Innocence is directly related to the inner space. It is in no way related to the outer world. In the Shiva Sutras, Shiva gives us techniques to achieve this innocence. If you follow Shiva’s life as is described in the Hindu mythological stories, you will not be able to see any social or traditional innocence in him. But there will be the pure and ultimate innocence. The place where he lives or the way in which he lives is not directly related to his purity or innocence. Shiva lives in a cemetery where bodies are cremated, surrounded by spirits and ghosts.
The word Shiva in Sanskrit means causeless auspiciousness.
This causeless auspiciousness, the energy to create bliss wherever he is, wherever he happens, arises out of his innocent inner space.”

'Please understand, anybody who has drowned in the ocean of samsara, the ocean of delusion and bondage, the only anchor available to raise yourself to the next level is Master’s words. From the other plane of existence, the only bridge available to this plane, this universe, is an Enlightened Master’s words. If you don’t catch that and raise yourself, nothing else- no puja, no meditation, no spiritual practice can help you.'

Q: What is seriousness?
A: Seriousness is nothing but paying undue importance to something, at the cost of everything else. It stems from the inability to see that all of life is just a drama that is unfolding every minute. Seriousness is the result of over-expectation from life.
A small story:
Two boys were building sand castles on the beach.
They suddenly had a quarrel and one of the boys got angry and kicked the sand castle.
The other boy went and complained to the king about it. The king began to laugh at him for making so much out of just sand castles. But the king’s advisor, a Zen monk, started laughing at the king.
He asked, ‘When you can fight battles and lose sleep over stone castles, why do you laugh at these boys for fighting over sand castles?’
Seriousness kills creativity. It destroys spontaneity.
Science has proved that when you perform a task in a relaxed and light manner, your thinking and decision-making capacity is automatically enhanced. The same task when performed in a serious manner dulls your mind.
All our seriousness is just sickness. When I say all, I mean ALL. And all our sickness originates from seriousness. Seriousness begets sickness and sickness begets seriousness.
When you do something too seriously, when you are too concerned about the result, you are actually not allowing yourself to perform at the optimum level.
Of course, you need to make plans, you need to think ahead, but with sincerity, not with seriousness. Seriousness is not the same as sincerity. Sincerity is focusing on the task with enthusiasm and youthfulness. Sincerity is giving the task your best without worrying excessively about the result.
With sincerity, there is no worry, there is only enthusiasm.

When you surrender to the Master, you surrender to his mission and to his teachings as well. When you surrender at the physical level, you surrender your physical self, your comforts to the Master, to imbibe and spread his teachings and mission.
For example, when you are involved completely in the work of the mission, you sacrifice your comforts, your sleep, and your desires in order to do that work.
Actually, I cannot call it sacrifice because you will feel from your very being that this is the best thing you can do. You will feel that it is the best use of your time and energy at the moment, rather than doing anything else like taking rest.
Automatically, your comforts take a lower priority and your laziness just vanishes. Everything else becomes a lower priority. The work of the mission is of supreme priority.
And I tell you, when you take up the responsibility of the mission, you will realize that what seemed to you as a load, as too much responsibility, is actually a blissful experience. How can the mission of the Master give anything other than pure bliss?
The moment you surrender to the Master and his mission and you stand up to take up the responsibility, you will find that simply the Divine Energy flows through you and you just flow effortlessly and express yourself most beautifully.
All you need to do is to be stable and available and the Divine Energy will make you able!

Q: Master, please comment on desires. Most Masters recommend sealing of desires. How can this be done?

I can comment on desires but do not want to comment on what most Masters recommend. I tell you honestly that sealing of desires cannot be done. Suppression will only lead to perversion and other difficulties.

Transformation is the only possibility; suppression cannot be practised. Whether it is related to the senses, enjoyment or name and fame or anything, the more you suppress, the more you poison your system.

All you can do is transform the desires. If you want this to happen, enter into meditation and let your energies be transformed. Except transformation, there is no other way to escape from desires. Just divert the energy and let it become pure. When you transform, you will have the pure desire without it being directed towards any object.

Desire without object is energy. When your energy is attached to an object, it becomes desire and when the desire is detached from the object it becomes energy. That is why in Vedic systems we call desire ichha shakti or desire energy.

As long as there is no object, it leads you to bliss. When there is an object, it leads you to bondage. You can only transform or purify it through meditation. Never suppress it. Suppression only leads to more problems.

A small story:

An 80 year old monk is interviewed by a junior novice monk. The junior monk asks the old monk, ‘Master, how does one control bad thoughts? How long do the bad thoughts continue to occur in the mind?’

The senior monk says, ‘I don’t know how long they continue to occur but I do know that they last at least to the age of 80!’
So please be very clear, suppression leads nowhere. Work for transformation, not for suppression.

"Turmeric, haritaki, neem - if you have these few things in your house, you will never fall sick! Every house, one neem tree, few turmeric plants, little haritaki. If you have more land in your house, these 3 trees. See, 2-lakh trees are recorded in ayurveda. in that, 3 trees will not have flower and directly have the fruit - pookadha kaitum - banyan, peepal, fig - do not flower, directly give fruit. They are called root-to-leaf oushadhi. From the root to the leaf, they are medicines. These 3 trees, you can take anything, it will do good to your body! So if you have little land around your home, try to have these few trees. First and foremost: neem; second, banyan; turmeric plant - turmeric, you can have even small pot; and fig, peepal - all, arasa, athi. Even the breeze will be healing your system!"

What is Death? Is it the spirit leaving the body that causes death, or is it that death forces the spirit into leaving the body? This argument becomes irrelevant once one understands that the body-mind system is perishable, that it has a definite shelf life. It comes with an expiry date, whatever that date may be. However, beyond this expiry date, there is something that lives on and that is the spirit.

This spirit is energy; it is the energy of life. As I explained before, after death this energy moves from within the body that is occupied temporarily to the energy that is outside the body, the universal energy that surrounds the body.

All our lives we see people around us dying. We all know that there is no one who is immortal. We all know that death is the only certainly in this otherwise uncertain world. Everyone, whether a beggar or a prince, must die.

When we wake up from a dream, we don’t mourn our dream lives, as real as they felt at the time. Do we? No. In the same way, when we awaken into the highest state of consciousness, we have the same experience that this ‘real’ life was only a dream, there is nothing to mourn or fret over. The lineage of all enlightened masters the world over has again and again supported Krishna’s declarations with their own direct experience. The body is just the shell that houses your spirit. Even when the body perishes, you do not. It is impossible because you are eternal. You are bliss.

Krishna is stating this reality straight out. He says firmly that there is no such thing as death. He says what dies or seems to perish is unreal; it had no permanent existence anyway.

What does have existence, what is truly real, exists now, has always existed and will exist forever!

"We would do well to remember that society can never be transformed. Only individuals can be transformed! As we evolve, we move from being a soul who caught the flame of inspiration, to one who can ignite the flame in others. That is living enlightenment. “When you live enlightenment you don’t have to do anything else. Your very walking, your very scent, your very presence will start raising human consciousness just as a spontaneous expression."

"Delayed gratification means having a long term vision about you and understanding your pleasure and pain from that cognition. When you are functioning from this principle of delayed gratification, the quality of food, music, visuals, smell and touch you enjoy will transform.
Let the hormonal hijack not happen in your life.
Let hormones not be the strategists and decision makers of your life. Look in, don’t be afraid to re-strategize yourself, reinvent yourself, shake your whole life and rebuild it.
Don’t be afraid.
It is never too late. Even if you are going to die in the next 15 minutes, 15 minutes is too much time. Come back to being imperishable. Let no hormones hijack your Consciousness and idea about you.
Your cognition about you and strategy for life should be based on imperishable components (Soul/Consciousness) which do not perish. Develop the taste of good, bad, right, wrong, pleasure and pain based on that cognition."

"Devotees come to me from all over the world, from North America, South America, Guadeloupe, France, Australia, Malaysia and so on. I tell them that they would not come had they not been born in India and exposed to the Vedic culture once before. They are coming back to their roots; that is all.
The spirit tries to remember why it came into this life, but does not always succeed. When it leaves this body again, at that point it again remembers its desire. This sometimes happens many times.
After many unsuccessful life journeys, cycles of samsara, the spirit decides, ‘Enough is enough. Now I must seek liberation. I must find my Master and savior.’ Sometimes the spirit takes on an incurable ailment that leads them to me.
Many disciples originally came to me for healing, which was solely the excuse that brought them to me. Their beings demanded that they be liberated and caused the body to suffer until they reached me.
Coming back to your question, each sibling may be seemingly different, but a thread underlies their dissimilarities in bringing them into one family. It may be a constructive or a disruptive reason, but the spirit came there for a reason."

During the early days of the ashram, I used to be Swamiji’s personal secretary and also taking care of His personal seva.
On multiple occasions, after Swamiji gave energy darshan to large crowds during some program, I have noticed sandal fragrance coming from Swamiji, and also from the clothes used by Him, while taking them out for washing the next day.
At that time I don’t know that this is also a special siddhi that is manifested by Avatars!

I had the good fortune to travel to Mt. Kailash with Swamiji in August 2012.
During the yatra (pilgrimage), many of the devotees from India expressed a desire to experience a snow shower, since they had never seen snow in their lives.

One night during the darshan at Manasarovar, Swamiji said that Kailash itself was celebrating our presence, and as a sign of blessing from Kailash, there would be a snow shower the next day.
Our chief travel guide, who was a local person, said there was no way we could expect snow, as the season for snow was more than three months away. Some of the devotees were disappointed about that.

I noticed that Swamiji just smiled at him quietly and said, ‘OK’.
I thought to myself, ‘The guide knows the weather, but Swamiji knows God!’

The next morning, just as we were getting ready to leave, we were graced with a beautiful snow shower! It was completely unseasonal, and a sure sign of Swamiji’s power to influence Nature, which I have noticed earlier also on many occasions!
The surprised guide then said that we will not be able to have darshan of Kailash, since the weather had turned cloudy. But just as Swamiji got out of his caravan at the vantage point, the clouds suddenly parted and revealed Kailash!

I heard Swamiji’s joyous cry of ‘Har Har Mahadev!’ and only then realized what had happened – Kailash had listened to Swamiji’s request and given us darshan. What a power!
