When you recognize that there is a voice in your head that pretends to be you and never stops speaking, you are awakening out of your unconscious identification with the stream of thinking.
Just observe the tremendous potential of the ‘I am’
it has kept the whole world running, the entire
manifestation has come from it, its perpetual
stubbornness is astonishing. To be free from it you
have to understand it in its utmost purity and then
meditate on it for a reasonable amount of time. The
intensity of your meditation should be such that
you become totally one with the ‘I am’. Then a
moment will come when it merges into itself and
you go beyond to your true being, which is the
Absolute or the ‘Parabrahman’.

Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a feather bed.
We never feel grief when we lose something that we have allowed to be free, that we have never attempted to possess. Grief is a sign that I made happiness depend on this thing or a person, at least to some extent. We’re so accustomed to hear the opposite of this that what I say sounds inhuman, doesn’t it?
True wealth is but the gracious silence of steady, unswerving Self-awareness. This bright rare treasure, can be gained only by those who earnestly strive for the extinction of all thoughts.
Watch your mind, how it comes into being, how it operates. As you watch your mind, you discover your self as the watcher. When you stand motionless, only watching, you discover your self as the light behind the watcher. The source of light is dark, unknown is the source of knowledge. That source alone is. Go back to that source and abide there.
The nothingness I speak of is eternity, omnipresence. When you do not identify with anything, everything unfolds as it should, and you become very happy. When you look into the future, trying to become something, or attain something, or improve something, you always worry, you have fears. And even if you attain it, it’s not what you thought it was. When you identify with emptiness, your true nature, this is Brahman, absolute reality. Another name for pure awareness is nothing. Absolute reality is nothing. Pure intelligence is no thing. Your real nature is no thing. It is no thing that you can describe. It is pure emptiness.
Do not wander outside, eating the scorching sand of worldly pleasures, which are non-Self; come home to the Heart where Peace is shining as a vast, everlasting, cool shade, and enjoy the feast of the Bliss of Self.
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Remember the clear light, the pure clear white light from which everything in the universe comes, to which everything in the universe returns; the original nature of your own mind. The natural state of the universe unmanifest. Let go into the clear light, trust it, merge with it. It is your own true nature, it is home.
The radiant one in me has never said a word...
What you seek is so near you,
that there is no place for 'a way.'
that there is no place for 'a way.'
May your light become a living universal light
You are awareness.
Awareness is another name for you. Since you are awareness there is no need to attain or cultivate it. All that you have to do is to give up being aware of other things, that is of the not-Self. If one gives up being aware of them then pure awareness alone remains, and that is the Self.

Keep your mind still. That is enough. You will get spiritual help sitting in this hall if you keep yourself still. The aim of all practices is to give up all practices. When the mind becomes still, the power of the Self will be experienced. The waves of the Self are pervading everywhere. If the mind is in peace, one begins to experience them.
The name and form of the spiritually enlightened saint experiences the pangs and sorrows of life, but not their sting. He is neither moved nor perturbed by the pleasures and pains, nor the profits and losses of the world. He is thus in a position to direct others. His behaviour is guided exclusively by the sense of justice.
As the inner and the outer, as ‘I’ and ‘this’, as this world and the next, pervading all as the boundless radiance of consciousness, the Guru is the unmoving support, the jewel-like lamp that shines effortlessly in the Hearts of true disciples.
Feel nothing, know nothing, do nothing, have nothing, give up all to God, and say utterly, ‘Thy will be done.’ We only dream this bondage. Wake up and let it go.
Not till your thoughts cease all their branching here and there, not till you abandon all thoughts of seeking for something, not till your mind is motionless as wood or stone, will you be on the right road to the Gate.
Do not suffer through chasing after the world and its ways, but attain peace by running along the straight path to the Heart.
If you abide in the Heart, realizing your true state, your peace will never cease.

Don't look for quick results, there may be none within your noticing.
Unknown to you, your psyche will undergo a change, there will be more clarity in your thinking and feeling, purity in your behaviour. You need not aim at these - you will witness the change all the same.

The quality of food influences the mind. The mind feeds on the food consumed.
Regulation of life, such as getting up at a fixed hour, bathing, doing mantra, japa observing ritual, all this is for people who do not feel drawn to self-enquiry or are not capable of it. But for those who can practice this method all rules and discipline are unnecessary.
Know that jnana (Self-realization) alone is non-attachment; jnana alone is purity; jnana is the attainment of God; jnana which is devoid of forgetfulness of Self alone is immortality; jnana alone is everything.
