I am the body
is the international bestseller.
All have bought into it
except the very wise.

Desiring a state of freedom from desire will not set you free. Nothing can set you free, because you are free. See yourself with desireless clarity, that is all.
In the garden of gentle sanity,
May you be bombarded by coconuts of wakefulness.
May you be bombarded by coconuts of wakefulness.
Find the sweetness in your own heart, then you may find the sweetness in every heart.
Nothing out there will ever satisfy you except temporarily and superficially, but you may need to experience many disappointments before you realize that truth.
No relationship can thrive without the sense of spaciousness that comes with stillness. Meditate or spend silent time in nature together. When going for a walk or sitting in the car or at home, become comfortable with being in stillness together. Stillness cannot and need not be created. Just be receptive to the stillness that is already there, but is usually obscured by mental noise.
We should not pretend to understand the world only by the intellect; we apprehend it just as much by feeling. Therefore, the judgment of the intellect is, at best, only the half of truth, and must, if it be honest, also come to an understanding of its inadequacy.
There is something magical about running; after a certain distance, it transcends the body. Then a bit further, it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul.
All cravings are the mind seeking salvation or fulfillment in external things and in the future as a substitute for the joy of Being.
What is your real nature? Is it writing, walking or being? The one unalterable reality is being. Until you realize that state of pure being you should pursue the enquiry. If once you are established in it there will be no further worry. No one will enquire into the source of thoughts unless thoughts arise. So long as you think ‘I am walking’ or ‘I am writing’, enquire who does it.
The mind’s original nature is like space;
It pervades and embraces all things under the sun.
Be still and stay relaxed in genuine ease,
Be quiet and let sound reverberate as an echo,
Keep your mind silent and watch the ending of all worlds.

People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.
Here, start living moment to moment totally and intensely, joyfully and playfully — and you will see that nothing goes out of control; that your intelligence becomes sharper; that you become younger; that your love becomes deeper. And when you go out into the world, wherever you go, spread life, playfulness, joy, as far away as possible — to every nook and corner of the earth.
Without love, and will inspired by love, nothing can be done. Merely talking about Reality without doing anything about it is self-defeating. There must be love in relation between the person who says ‘I am’ and the observer of that ‘I am’.
You may say you have two bodies; the personal and the universal. The personal comes and goes, the universal is always with you. Entire creation is your universal body. You are so blinded by what is personal, that you do not see the universal….
Knowing yourself as the dweller in both bodies you will disown nothing. All the universe will be your concern; every living thing you will love and help most tenderly and wisely. There will be no clash of interests between you and others. All exploitation will cease absolutely. Your every action will be beneficial, every moment will be a blessing.

I feel within me a peace above all earthly dignities, a still and quiet conscience.
Do not seek after what you yearn for, seek after the source of the yearning itself.
When we start to suffer, it tells us something very valuable. It means that we are not seeing the truth, and we are not relating from the truth. It’s a beautiful pointer. It never fails.
Temporal life or worldliness means an attempt
to make oneself happy at the cost and sacrifice
of others, being totally indifferent to others
welfare and miseries. Your natural happiness is
not acquired by any effort or means. Temporary
things can only bring temporary happiness.
Knowing the Self brings Eternal happiness to all
because It is Eternal. In the temporal there is
endless misery and in the Self there is
boundless and unexcelled Eternal joy.
Paramartha means [1] to realise the Origin of
the whole universe, [2] to enjoy one's own
natural happiness without making any effort, [3]
to make all people similarly and equally happy,
and [4] the Perfection of Material Science. It is
the highest attainment of Absolute Reality.

Your eyes are the windows through which I can gaze into the heart of God.
My eyes are the mirror in which you can see God reflected inside your own being.

People come to me and they say, "We want to know God -- where is God?"
Now, the question is just absurd. WHERE IS HE NOT?
You ask WHERE He is; you must be dead blind. Can't you see Him? Only He is! In the tree and in the bird, in the animal, in the river, in the mountain, in man, in woman... everywhere He is. He has taken so many forms to surround you, to dance around you. From everywhere He is saying "Hello!" and you don't listen. From everywhere He is calling you. From everywhere He is inviting you: "Come to me!" But you are somehow keeping your eyes closed, or you have got blinders on -- you don't look anywhere.

You know quite well, deep within you, that there is only a single magic, a single power, a single salvation…and that is called loving. Well, then, love your suffering. Do not resist it, do not flee from it. It is your aversion that hurts, nothing else.
To the ignorant, the sense 'I am' means 'I am the body.'
To the Saint, 'I am' means 'I am Presence.'
To the Sage, 'I am' means 'I am the Absolute.'

Silence is the most potent form of work. The guru is quiet and peace prevails in all. His silence is more vast and more emphatic than the scriptures put together. In fact the guru is always within you. The guru’s silence is the loudest teaching. It is also grace in its highest form. Silence is the true teaching. It is the perfect teaching.
