Each soul runs from poverty and destruction. How sad! It is running away from happiness and joy. No one can triumph before being destroyed. O Beloved! Reconcile me with destruction.
The emptiness I speak about is not the emptiness the mind imagines. It is not blank. Your body can continue expressing in a natural way. Intelligence is there. Emotions can come. Everything can play, but inside there is total serenity and peace. No planning, no strategizing, no personal identity is there. Just the space of pure being. It is what we are, but we dream and believe we are not.
Words pointing from Truth to Truth return to Emptiness once their mission is complete. Therefore, they are not to be displayed in the museum of the mind. By turning living words into rigid concepts, they become a sarcophagus for the aspirant.
The one who walks without desire, expectation or identity, is called the Buddha.

Ultimately, it is freedom from even the concept of freedom that we seek. It is the end of all striving.
What hurts most is having to live as a 'me'

Married or unmarried, a man can realize the Self; because That is here and now. If it were not so, but attainable by some effort at some time, and if it were new and had to be acquired, it would not be worth pursuit. Because, what is not natural is not permanent either. But what I say is that the Self is here and now, and alone.
He is, even while working, in solitude. To engage in your duty is the true namaskar... and abiding in God is the only true asana.
Many people think that it is the function of a spiritual teaching
to provide answers to life’s biggest questions,
but actually, the opposite is true.
The primary task of any good spiritual teaching is not to
answer your questions, but to question your answers.
For it is your conscious and unconscious assumptions and beliefs
that distort your perception and cause you to see separation and division where there is actually only unity and completeness.

The Master gives himself up
to whatever the moment brings.
He knows that he is going to die,
and he has nothing left to hold on to:
no illusions in his mind,
no resistances in his body.

they flow from the core of his being.

as a man is ready for sleep
after a good day's work.

There is no reaching the Self. If Self were to be reached, it would mean that the Self is not here and now but that it is yet to be obtained. What is got afresh will also be lost. So it will be impermanent. What is not permanent is not worth striving for. So I say the Self is not reached. You are the Self; you are already That.
Don’t put on your awareness jacket only when trouble comes. Awareness is not a technique. It is not medicine. It is Freedom. Be free all the time.
You understand all this inside your Heart already. Just sometimes some distractions come, then you bring it back. You stay in this emptiness. Then you observe everything is happening spontaneously! You don’t have to force anything. Leave everything to life. Let life care for life, with your blessing.”
I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.

Look for it, the ego vanishes. The real Self alone remains.
Innocence is the base of all spirituality. The moment you think you know, you are no more a child. You are closed. Knowledge kills and poisons. Innocence opens you and makes you alive. That's why Jesus goes on saying “If you are like children, only then -- and only then -- will you be able to enter into the kingdom of God.
A subtle illumination will be experienced as ‘I-I’ which is no other than the Absolute, the Self, seated in the lotus of the Heart, in the city of the body, the tabernacle of God.
THE MIND GOES ASTRAY , THE MIND RETURNS HOME...
Q: Is perfection the destiny of all human beings?
M: Of all living beings -- ultimately. The possibility becomes a certainty when the notion of enlightenment appears in the mind.
Once a living being has heard and understood that deliverance is within his reach, he will never forget, for it is the first message from within. It will take roots and grow and in due course take the blessed shape of the Guru.
Q: So all we are concerned with is the redemption of the mind?
M: What else? The mind goes astray, the mind returns home. Even the word 'astray' is not proper. The mind must know itself in every mood. Nothing is a mistake unless repeated.

Attention is not the Ultimate. It's important. It's one of your most powerful instruments, because wherever attention goes we call this experience. But something observes attention also. That, which is behind attention, untroubled by the movements of mind, identify this now. A tsunami of thoughts cannot touch that one. It touches the popular identity; it affects the self-image; the ego. But the Absolute is absolutely untouched.
This meeting will not end in two. A sheep had a dream of meeting a lion. You know what the result is. There will only be One left.
Thoughts can only be strong for you

Just see the person you imagine yourself to be as a part of the world you perceive within your mind, and look at the mind from the outside, for you are not the mind. After all, your only problem is the eager self-identification with whatever you perceive. Give up this habit, remember that you are not what you perceive, use your power of alert aloofness.
