Anger is a weakness; jealousy, hatred, selfishness and fear are all weaknesses. The root cause of all these weaknesses is ego.
Each reaction which arises from us causes a delay in attaining the Goal. Whereas acceptance will cause Grace to flow.
A true Master does nothing. In His presence, everything just happens without any effort on His part.
Bliss is our true nature, not sorrow. But something has happened to us where everything has been turned upside down. Happiness has become a strange mood while sorrow is considered to be natural. Real bliss will be attained only when we can discriminate between the eternal and non-eternal.

Pure love is the best medicine for the modern world. This is what is lacking in all societies. The root cause of all problems, from personal problems to global problems is the absence of love. Love is the binding factor, the unifying factor. Love creates the feeling of oneness among people. It unifies a nation and its people. Love creates a sense of unity while hatred causes division. Egotism and hatred cuts people's minds into pieces. Love should rule. There is no problem which love cannot solve.
The disciple should have the complete awareness that whatever the guru does is for his upliftment and good. Some may wonder whether such blind obedience to the guru is a kind of slavery. The truth is that the disciple is already enslaved to his own latent tendencies and ego. What the guru does is to rescue him from the bondage of that slavery.
The guru is like a booster rocket. Caught in many attachments, we are like satellites constantly circling around, caught in the gravitational field of the earth. The booster rocket that is the guru frees us from these bonds.

Real love is experienced when there are no conditions. Where love is present, nothing can be forced; force is only used when we perceive others to be different from ourselves. Conditional love cannot exist when there is only oneness. The very idea of force disappears in that state. Then you simply are. The universal life energy flows through you when you become an open passage. Let the Supreme Consciousness take charge, removing obstructions to its flow, allowing the river of all- embracing love to run its course.

Yoga creates powerful spiritual vibrations. These vibrations positively affect both us, as well as others. It is important to do balanced exercise for at least ten minutes a day. Along with this, we also need at least 10 minutes of sun exposure per day.
Mantras are the purest form of universal vibrations, or shakti, the profundity of which was experienced by the Rishis in deep meditation. Mantra is the power of the universe in seed form. That is why they are known as bijaksharas (seed letters). Having gone through that experience, they offered these pure sounds to humanity. However, verbally encapsulating an experience, particularly the most profound of all experiences, is not so easy. So, the mantras we have are the closest sounds to the universal sound that the compassionate Rishis could verbally create for the benefit of the world. However, the fact still remains that the fullness of a mantra can only be experienced when your. mind attains perfect purity.
"Give instructions to the mind such as, 'Oh mind, why do you crave these unnecessary things? You still think that this will give you happiness and satisfy you? It is not so. Know that it will only drain your energy and give you nothing but restlessness and unending tension. Oh mind, stop this wondering. Return to your blissful source and rest in peace.'"

“Technology is a good servant but a dangerous master. For many people, relationships have become confined to the numbers in the phone. We no longer value seeing each other face to face. When our relationships with the world are defined solely through machines, we pawn our very consciousness to the unconscious machine. We should use machines and love people. We must never allow the hallmark of our society to become 'use people and love machines.'”

"What are the attributes of a truly ‘Great’ person?
What counts is how much we have been able to positively influence others through our thoughts, words and actions. In how many people have we planted seeds of goodness? How many lives have we enriched with our love and compassion? Has our wisdom and discernment helped to shed the light of the good judgement in others’ lives? These are all the attributes of a truly ‘great’ person. All of these qualities are internal, not external. These are all elements of our true Self. This is our true nature. It can never be destroyed. Everything else in creation can be destroyed. Everything else may be here today and disappear tomorrow or may become someone else’s.”

Don't let the mind deceive you. It has been playing tricks and making a fool of you for ages, life after life. To begin with, you need to understand that the mind is a trickster, a clever liar, that stops you from being aware of your true nature, the Self.
Once you are able to see the Truth, nothing is unknown or strange to you; you are familiar with the entire universe and you smile, not occasionally, but continuously. Your life becomes a big smile.
AMMA’S MANTRA
One day after finishing her meditation, Sudhamani (young Amma) came out of the tiny shrine room. She was suddenly overwhelmed with the feeling that she was a small child, and that Nature was the Divine Mother. In that mood she crawled like a baby on all fours to the base of a coconut tree. Sitting there shedding tears, she pleaded, “Mother... my Mother... why are You hiding from my sight? I know that You are hiding in this tree. You are in these plants, You are living in these animals, these birds! The earth is nothing but You. O Mother, how You conceal Yourself in the ocean waves and in the cooling breeze! O Mother, my elusive Mother!...” The next moment she embraced the coconut tree, feeling that it was the Divine Mother.
Sometimes Sudhamani lay down, but not to rest, as she had no fondness for sensuous pleasure. While lying on the bare ground, she would gaze endlessly at the infinite sky, the silvery clouds, the shining sun, the glittering stars, the soothing moon.
When dark storm clouds gathered overhead, Sudhamani no longer saw Sri Krishna in them, but imagined the long, cascading, curly hair of the Divine Mother. Each object suspended in the infinite heavens became a sign of the presence of Devi. As she lay under the sky, she never slept, but remained in a state of tear-filled supplication to the Supreme Mother of the Universe.
Referring to those days, Sudhamani later recalled, “While walking I used to repeat the Divine Name with every step. I took each step only after chanting the mantra. Should I forget to chant the mantra while taking a step, immediately I stepped backwards. Having withdrawn the step, I would repeat the mantra. Only then would I proceed.
If I happened to be engaged in any external activity, I used to decide beforehand to chant the mantra a certain number of times before finishing the task. While bathing in the river, before plunging into the water, I used to resolve to chant the mantra a certain number of times before coming to the surface. I never had a Guru, nor was I ever initiated by anyone and given a particular mantra. The mantra which I used to chant was ‘Amma, Amma’ (Mother Mother).”

Thankfulness is a humble, open and prayerful attitude that helps you receive more of God's grace.
If we really think about it, do we really need a new reason for celebrating? Life and being blessed with human birth is cause enough. On top of that, there are birds, trees, rivers, the all-expansive sky and the infinite stars. Aren’t all of these things ample cause for rejoicing?
Nobody likes to let go of the ego- it is so precious to everyone.
However, once you have attained a state of egolessness, the world won’t disappear, as you may think it will.
The world will continue, but a change takes place within you.
Something is uncovered.
You start seeing everything with the wonder and innocence of a child.

Try to cultivate a mind that never harms any being in thoughts, word, or deed.
There is a rhythm to everything in the cosmos. The wind, the rain, the waves, the flow of our breath and our heartbeat—everything has a rhythm. Similarly, there is a rhythm in life. Our thoughts and actions create the rhythm and melody of our lives. When the rhythm of our thoughts is lost, it reflects in our actions. This will, in turn, throw off the very rhythm of life. Today, this is what we are seeing all around us.
Peace is not a product of an intellectual exercise. It is an inner blossoming that occurs with meditation.
When difficult circumstances arise in life, don't run away in fear. Rather, kindle the love within and try to overcome them.
When we pray for others, the entire universe prays for us.
When you surrender to a higher consciousness, you give up all your claims; you release your grip from everything that you've been holding on to. Whether you gain or lose, it doesn't matter now. You don't want to be something any longer. You long to be nothing, absolutely nothing. So you dive into the River of Existence.
A true devotee realizes that his Lord is within and without, that He is all-knowing and all-powerful — omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. Understanding this, the devotee simply tries to express his total helplessness to the Lord and accepts Him as the sole protector and guide. In such sincere and open-hearted prayer, the devotee confesses the uselessness and the burden of his ego. Why should one keep a useless thing? Therefore, he prays to the Lord to remove it, to destroy it. This kind of prayer is real meditation, and it will definitely take one to the goal.
To remember God, you have to forget. To be really focused on God is to be fully and absolutely in the present moment, forgetting the past and the future. That alone is real prayer.
