A real devotee considers everything as the will of his Lord. His whole being is constantly in a prayerful mood. For him, every word and deed is a prayer, a worship of his beloved. Having surrendered everything to his beloved Lord, a true devotee is always in a blissful mood.
Behind everything - blooming flowers, singing birds, blowing winds, burning fires - is Divine Will. Divine Will is the cause of the birth, growth, and death of all beings and all creation. It is the Supreme Energy that sustains the universe. Without it, the world would not exist.
A truly spiritual person lives for the Truth,

When watching a movie practice to keep the awareness that it is only a movie. Later, practice the same towards your own life.
One cannot wait for vairagya (dispassion) to come. It is meaningless to think that one can satiate all desires and then take to spirituality, because desires are endless. They are like the waves of the ocean. They will appear one after another. A person was standing by the ocean for a very long time. Another person who was watching him asked, "You have been standing here for a long time. What are you doing?" He replied, "Friend, I want to take a bath in the ocean, but I am waiting for the waves to subside so that I can bathe peacefully." Desiring to lead a spiritual life after satisfying all one's desires is like being that person who wanted to bathe in the ocean only after all the waves had subsided.
The mind can be compared to a pendulum. Like the incessant movement of a clock's pendulum, the mind swings intermittently from happiness to sorrow and back again. Real peace and happiness can be experienced only when the mind stops swinging altogether. From that stillness ensues real peace and bliss, and this state is truly the essence of life.
Take the example of someone getting angry at you for no reason. For a normal person it is difficult to remain calm and undisturbed in such a situation. But you should use your discrimination in order to keep your mind well under control. For this to happen, introspection is needed. To accept the anger as a blessing sent by the Lord in order to test your patience, or to ignore and remain unaffected, one needs sharp discrimination. In both cases a sadhak (seeker) must make a conscious and continuous effort in order to proceed towards the ultimate goal.
You don't have to go searching for God - God shines in everyone! There isn't more of God somewhere in India or in Heaven than in You.

of a great Master, the closed bud of your heart opens up. You become as receptive and innocent as a child, a humble and obedient child of the Master. He doesn't teach you anything. You learn everything without being taught. His presence, his very life, is the greatest teaching of all. There is no control or force involved; everything happens naturally and effortlessly. Only love can create this miracle.

Life is a mystery. You cannot understand it unless you surrender, for your intellect cannot grasp its expansive and infinite nature, its real meaning and fullness. Bow down low and be humble; then you will know life's meaning.
It is when you have tried and failed that you are truly able to surrender. Though you fail time and again, you continue to try until, finally, there comes a point when you accept your failure; you fully
experience and understand your incapacity to move forward. It is at that point that you surrender. So keep trying. That ultimate sense of failure must come to everyone, either today or tomorrow.

If others throw thorns at you, you should be able to throw flowers back at them. If others give us poison, we should give them sweets. Sadhana is to cultivate such a mind
Renounce and enjoy. The real fruit, the real happiness, lies within. Learn to be content with that inner experience of happiness. When you eat a banana, you eat only the fruit. You don't eat the peel because it will give you a stomach-ache. Similarly, don't allow your wealth, status and reputation to be the very core of your existence. They may seem to provide happiness, but such happiness is transient and riddled with pain. But remember, your real existence lies within.
When you experience only God, your whole life is an act of worship, a form of prayer, a song of praise. You see enlightenment, dormant, in everyone who comes before you. You see the inmost Self and feel deep reverence. Nothing is insignificant; everything has meaning. Even in a blade of grass you see supreme Light shining.
A real Master teaches you to accept everything that happens in life. He helps you to be thankful for both good and bad, right and wrong, enemy and friend, those who harm you and those who help you, those who cage you and those who release you from the cage. The Master helps you forget about the dark past and the bright future full of a thousand promises. He helps you live life in the present moment with all its fullness. He lets you know that the whole of nature - everything, everybody, even your enemy is helping you evolve and attain perfection.
Darkness is slowly enveloping the world. It is a pitiful scene we see all around. Having dissipated all their energy and vitality by running after objects of pleasure, people are collapsing. Man has
gone beyond the reasonable limits set by nature. This does not mean that one should not enjoy the pleasures of the world. That is all right. But understand this great truth, that the enjoyment and happiness you get from sensual pleasures and worldly objects are only a minute reflection of the infinite bliss which comes from within your own Self. Know that your true nature is bliss. Just as today’s newspaper will become tomorrow’s waste paper, that
which gives happiness today can easily become the source of tomorrow’s despair. To understand this truth while living in the world is what religion teaches us.

Remove the I and you, and you will find that there is only love. It is as if love is imprisoned between the I and you. Remove the I and you, for they are unreal; they are self-imposed walls that don't exist. The gulf between I and you is the ego. When the ego is removed the distance disappears and the I and you also disappear. They merge to become one - and that is love. You lend the I and you their reality. Withdraw your support and they will disappear.
Then you will realize, not that `I love you,’ but that `I am that all-embracing love.’
