Brahman or the Eternal cannot be known through the intellect. He cannot be realized by arguing or reasoning. He can be realized only by direct intuitional experience. Keep the mind under control. Purify and steady it. Subjugate the senses. Have a strong yearning to realize Him. Cultivate universal love, dispassion and discrimination. Have firm conviction in the existence of Brahman. Always think of Brahman, talk of Brahman. Withdraw yourself and look within. Meditate on Brahman in your heart. You will soon attain eternal bliss.

For the faults of the many, judge not the whole. Everything on earth is of mixed character, like a mingling of sand and sugar. Be like the wise ant which seizes only the sugar and leaves the sand untouched.
Truth is for earnest seekers, not for those of idle curiosity. It is easy to believe when one sees; there is nothing then to deny. Supersensual truth is deserved and discovered by those who overcome their natural materialistic skepticism.
If you come to doubt, I'll give you every reason to doubt. If you come suspicious, I'll give you every reason to be suspicious. But if you come seeking Love, I'll show you more love than you've ever known.
Attach to the real. Changes are many. Lessons are many. The flow of life plays out. The fog slowly lifts and the path becomes visible. But always be aware that the path is like the Ganges, always changing, never still. That is why we would bathe in it early each morning. To remind us, to understand, that change is the Law of Nature. This is the great lesson. See? And my message of Truth, Simplicity and Love is the tool for living in the river of change. Change, change, change ... this is the way of the Universe. But there is a stillness, a ground of being, where I am no-body, no-thing, eternally observing all of this change. This is the realm of the Higher Self.
You all think devotion is fun. Some day you will have to jump without fear of life or death; then you will be able to make progress. When the time comes, you will have to walk through fire and water.
If you love me why do you then have doubt and fear in your heart?
Do not be overwhelmed. This is a time of great change. Observe. Be Aware. Be Alert. Take one step at a time. Follow what is in your heart. You will understand what your direction is to be. Truth, Simplicity and Love is the guide for living in this world. Observe change through the teachings of Truth, Simplicity and Love. The unreal cannot overwhelm the real. Great change cannot overwhelm the real.

The lower self is overwhelmed by change. The higher self is unmoved, alert, aware, and unconditionally observing. Change is merely the maya of Shiva's dance. Understand this and rise above the unreal.
