Take an interest in your pain and your fear. Move closer, lean in, get curious; even for a moment experience the feelings beyond labels, beyond being good or bad. Welcome them. Invite them. Do anything that helps melt the resistance.
Maybe I could live there.
In the space between knowledge and understanding.
Between love and letting go.
In the place where it stops hurting to be so far away.
The place where you’re already there.
In the nameless.
In the space between knowledge and understanding.
Between love and letting go.
In the place where it stops hurting to be so far away.
The place where you’re already there.
In the nameless.
Knowledge grants us nothing new;
it reveals to us what we already possess - our immortal nature; but love infuses into the movements of our life, beauty, purity, splendour and joy.

Hell has three gates: lust, anger, and greed.
God has no problems.
Neither do you.
For you are That.
Neither do you.
For you are That.
Look within,
There is no difference between yourself, Self and Guru.
You are always Free.
There is no teacher, there is no student, there is no teaching.
There is no difference between yourself, Self and Guru.
You are always Free.
There is no teacher, there is no student, there is no teaching.
Only when you can understand yourself as All Pervading Consciousness can you possibly understand that all the universe is an emanation of your mind. Everything that you see comes out of you.
Let go of what has passed. Let go of what may come. Let go of what is happening now. Don't try to figure anything out. Don't try to make anything happen. Relax, right now, and rest.
There is a never-ending cycle of birth and death. What is birth and what is death? They are desire. This never-ending cycle is fueled by desire, the desire to enjoy sense objects in a body. When desire ceases, this cycle also ceases. This apparently endless cycle of birth and death ends with the cessation of desire. It is not only birth and death that end. When desire ceases, the universe itself ceases. It is as if it never existed. That's how it is.
The space that is being looked for is the space that is looking.
Meditation is to effortlessly turn the mind toward that energy which energizes mind.
Stillness of mind comes from giving up all attachments except that attachment to Self.
How to describe the waking state in dreamland language? Words do not describe, they are only symbols.
Be as though you don't exist.
Let the bodily functions unfold, let thoughts come and go but don’t follow them. Be only the awareness.
Something is unplugged, but you are still fully here. Senses are functioning normally. This was never the trouble.
The mind rises up as resistances and doubts but they are mere thoughts.
Mind in its psychological aspect can come full power, but you are not to be a traffic policeman inside your own head.
Can the mind pull Awareness out of itself and turn into a person? Can it do that?
With some rare beings it will not have this power. Why?
Because they remain rooted in and as awareness and so don’t exchange their stillness for panic.
And it is not something you can practice to do; it all happens spontaneously through understanding your true nature and by being one with that.
Here you cannot pretend to be free and get away with it, so don’t try.
Forget about it. If you insist in hiding behind the shallow façade of personality I would rather be at home watching Tv, than staying here trying to change your thinking, because it’s not going to work. There must be a deep openness or yearning for truth.
Strive to understand your true nature, your highest position.
You are the silence, the unchanging ground of all appearances.
When you come to realize this, all this chaos is going to come to an end.

Karma is only a store of unspent energies, of unfulfilled desires and fears not understood. The store is being constantly replenished by new desires and fears. It need not be so for ever. Understand the root cause of your fears -- estrangement from yourself: and of desires -- the longing for the self, and your karma will dissolve like a dream. Between earth and heaven life goes on. Nothing is affected, only bodies grow and decay.
When you awaken something happens that is unexplainable. There are no human words to explain. When you awaken you just understand, not even understand, you know, you feel, and those words are inadequate, you become… divine harmony. You are no longer fooled by person, place or thing. You no longer react. As an example, someone tells you, “Oh, you won the lotto, you won fifty billion dollars.” It’s OK. You do not become a slave to that. Someone tells you, “You lost fifty billion dollars.” Same thing, same reaction. You do not become a slave to that.”
The body appears in your mind, your mind is the content of your consciousness; you are the motionless witness of the river of consciousness which changes eternally without changing you in any way. Your own changelessness is so obvious that you do not notice it. Have a good look at yourself and all these misapprehensions and misconceptions will dissolve. Just as all the little watery lives are in water and cannot be without water, so all the universe is in you and cannot be without you.
I want us to move into this joy together, but you are still hesitating.
We have a date and I am inside the restaurant waiting, but you are outside looking in.
It's a blind date and you are there checking me out.
I ask what you will be wearing?
You say: No, I’ll find you.
You feel there is a risk.
It's true that some are not up for such a radical seeing.
They say: I am more comfortable with 10 steps to find it.
Nevertheless you are here and if you are listening even with a little bit of guard, its ok, but as much light as you allow to come in or come up, be present in the heart of that light
and you will be informed inside your being if this is a true invitation or not.

Neither a lofty degree of intelligence, nor imagination, nor both together go to the making of a genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of a genius.
If the master encounters
A king or a woman
Or someone he dearly loves,
He is without desire.
And when he honors
A god or a holy place
Or a man versed in the scriptures,
There is no longing in his heart.
None at all!
He is unperturbed
Even when his servants despise him,
Or his wives, sons, and grandsons mock him.
Even when his whole family makes fun of him,
He is undismayed.
For him there is no pain in pain,
No pleasure in pleasure.
Only those who are like him
Can know his exaltation.
He has no form.
His form is emptiness.
He is constant and pure.
He has no sense of duty,
Which only binds men to the world.

---------- Leave the world alone, go within your Self ----------
What is the Self?
The Self is your real nature, that's what you are.
The Self is consciousness.
What is consciousness?
Consciousness is the power that is conscious of itself.
It is self-contained, it is omnipresent.
When you speak of love, of peace, of God, of joy, of happiness, of bliss, you're speaking of consciousness.
These words are just other words for consciousness.
Consciousness is you.
The Self, consciousness, they're all synonymous.
They all pertain to you.
Now what have you been seeing? What have you been reacting to?
The mind goes out and causes problems and you try to resolve them. You cannot. For when you resolve one problem another one pops up somewhere else and there's no end to it. It's like trying to figure out, what came first the seed or the tree? You never get anywhere, there's no solution. People have been trying to resolve problems, since the beginning of time and the world is getting worse. There's no adequate solution in trying to resolve anything in the outside. The great secret of course is to;
Leave the world alone, go within your Self and there you will find happiness, joy and peace.
But how do you go within yourself
How do you dive deep within yourself?
By asking the question, "Who am I?"
I have found this to be the fastest method there is, to awakening.
There are other methods, but personally I found this the fastest.
All you have to do is question, "Who am I?"
You do not have to answer, you do not have to analyze anything, you do not have to come up with any solution.
You simply ask the question, "From whence did 'I' come?
Where did the 'I' come from?
What is the source of 'I'?"
Many people have been practicing Jnana Marga have made the mistake of concentrating on the 'I' and this is why you do not get anywhere.
You concentrate on the source, not on the 'I'.
The 'I' is only an illusion.
It is only is something that appears to be like your body.
It has no momentum, it has no substance.
But yet you have to watch the 'I'.
You have to abide in the 'I'.
For it leads you to the source of existence.
The source of everything.
You do this by again questioning, "Where does the 'I' come from?"
You do not answer.
And you ask again, "Who am I?" You never answer.
If you answer, it is your mind playing games with you.
Your ego is very powerful, it does not wish to be destroyed.
It will play games with you.
You simply pose the question yet you never answer.
The answer will come in due time.
It will reveal itself to you as you.
You need patience, take your time.
Do not think it is going to happen overnight.
It may, it may not.
Yet do not think of those things.
If you're really busy working on your 'I', you will not have time to find fault in the world.
For the 'I' will take all of your attention.
What do you give your attention to now? What hurts you? What bothers you?
This continues simply because you are placing all of your attention, all of your focus on the thing that you think is wrong with your life or something that's disturbing you.
Let me remind you, you will never resolve anything that way. It may appear that you resolve it that way, but something else will pop up.
As an example: A lady is having problems with her co-workers. She can't get along with them. She says, "They're doing this to me, they're doing that to me, it's not my fault", so she quits her job and she moves to San Francisco. Gets a new job. Everything is okay for the first couple of months.
But then she finds the same problem with her new co-workers. Because she has taken herself with her. Yet she does not realize this. She thinks it's the people. She thinks it's the environment. She thinks it's the economy. But she never goes to search herself, to ask herself, "Why do I have this problem? Why do I perceive these things? Who is the perceiver? I am. Who am I? Who is the 'I' that perceives these problems? Where did that I come from? What is its source?"
You abide in the 'I', yet you do not concentrate on the 'I'.
You abide in the 'I', you follow the 'I' to the source.
One day you will awaken and you will become free.
But again, do not look for a timetable.
Do not try to make it happen this year, or tomorrow or yesterday.
It may, leave it alone.
Do the work that is necessary and everything will work out.
Time passes very fast.
Before you know it, it's time to leave your body.

There is first the white light, so to call it, of the Self, which transcends both light and darkness. In it no object can be seen. There is neither seer nor seen. Then there is total darkness or avidya in which also no objects are seen. But from the Self proceeds a reflected light, the light of pure manas [mind], and it is this light which gives room for the existence of all the film of the world which is seen neither in total light nor in total darkness, but only in the subdued or reflected light.
Infinite Consciousness means a living entity that is not circumscribed by definitions. The taproot for the Jiva-bhava is the concept of I-hood. This feeling has to be dissolved in the Infinite Consciousness. This goal of dissolution is the only thing in the mind of the seeker on the jnana path.
If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the World, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.
Really there is nothing to understand. Being what you really are is happening; that can not be stopped or started. What you are is beyond all of this. Nothing to work out any more perhaps; let the fragrance of what you are arise and dissolve any tendency to imagine you are other than the essence of all that IS.
I am double dead.
Not only am I dead to my body, but to my mind too.
Not only am I dead to my body, but to my mind too.
