Darkness is slowly enveloping the world. It is a pitiful scene we see all around. Having dissipated all their energy and vitality by running after objects of pleasure, people are collapsing. Man has
gone beyond the reasonable limits set by nature. This does not mean that one should not enjoy the pleasures of the world. That is all right. But understand this great truth, that the enjoyment and happiness you get from sensual pleasures and worldly objects are only a minute reflection of the infinite bliss which comes from within your own Self. Know that your true nature is bliss. Just as today’s newspaper will become tomorrow’s waste paper, that
which gives happiness today can easily become the source of tomorrow’s despair. To understand this truth while living in the world is what religion teaches us.

14 The Fool
By nature my mind is empty.
Even in sleep, I am awake.
I think of things without thinking.
All my impressions of the world
Have dissolved.
My desires have melted away.
So what do I care for money
Or the thieving senses,
For friends or knowledge or holy books?
Liberation,
Bondage,
What are they to me?
What do I care for freedom?
For I have known God,
The infinite Self,
The witness of all things.
Without, a fool.
Within, free of thought.
I do as I please,
And only those like me
Understand my ways.
By nature my mind is empty.

The purpose of life is to be at Peace,
To love all Beings, and know who you are.
Know your Self and you know everything.
This immaculate knowledge alone is, Emptiness alone is.
How can you come out of emptiness
if there are no limits to it?
The appearance of a manifestation
is but lila of this Emptiness.
Know who you are, Here and Now,
by simply Being Quiet.
You are this moment, introduce yourself to This,
do not attach your mind to any direction.
No sadhana, no past, no future,
not even emptiness of your heart, not even space.
To be free forever introduce yourself to this Moment.
This Moment is always this Moment, It will not change.
It is Freedom, free from mind and concepts,
and is your fundamental birthright.
The best use of this Moment is to drown in It.
Keep Quiet, you are inside of the inside,
do not dwell anywhere and make no effort.
The concept of effort and practice is bondage.
Just keep Quiet, Wherever you are, Just keep Quiet.
To love all Beings, and know who you are.

The Ego, however, is not who you really are. The ego is your self-image; it is your social mask; it is the role you are playing. Your social mask thrives on approval. It wants control, and it is sustained by power, because it lives in fear.
Every time negative energy is embraced by the energy of mindfulness, it will lose a little of its strength. The same is true for other mental formations: fear, anguish, anxiety, and despair. They exist in us in the form of seeds, and every time a seed is watered, it becomes a zone of energy on the upper level of our consciousness. If we don't know how to take care of it, it will push us to do or say things that will damage us and the people we love. Therefore, generating the energy of mindfulness, to recognize it, to embrace it, is the practice. And the practice should be done in a tender, nonviolent way.
When a stage is reached that one feels deeply that whatever is being done is happening and one has not got anything to do with it, then it becomes such a deep conviction that whatever is happening is not happening really. And that whatever seems to be happening is also an illusion. That may be final. In other words, totally apart from whatever seems to be happening, when one stops thinking that one is living, and gets the feeling that one is being lived, that whatever one is doing, one is not doing, but one is made to do, then that is a sort of criterion.
Did you ever sit quietly with your back straight, not moving, just only cherishing the beauty of silence?
SILENCE is the loudest form of prayer.
The only thing that is holding you back are your thoughts.
Get rid of your thoughts and you'll be home free.
Quiet your mind.
Keep yourself still and leave the world alone.
When I say leave the world alone it becomes confusing somewhat.
I mean mentally.

I discovered that it is necessary, absolutely necessary, to believe in nothing. That is, we have to believe in something which has no form and no color--something which exists before all forms and colors appear... No matter what god or doctrine you believe in, if you become attached to it, your belief will be based more or less on a self-centered idea.
Oh Beloved,
Take away what I want.
Take away what I do.
Take away what I need.
Take away everything
that takes me from you.
Take away what I want.
Take away what I do.
Take away what I need.
Take away everything
that takes me from you.
Your spiritual practice does not begin when you've gone to many teachers, and you've read many books. It actually begins when you give up everything. That's when real sadhana begins, when you have surrendered everything, when you've emptied yourself of all knowledge, all desires for liberation.
When you have become an empty shell, then your spiritual life begins. Until that time you're only playing games with yourself.

As far as the search for truth is concerned, 98% of our thinking is rubbish.
The remaining 2% is garbage.
Throw it all out and be empty! Truth cannot be caught by intellect alone - grace is needed.

Awareness is complete perceptual openness in all experience. It is freedom in immediate perception rather than being focused on stories. The whole field of perception opens up in timeless awareness to include all perceptions. We may find ourselves having a lot of thoughts and a lot of emotions, even very strong emotions that we could have never tolerated before we began gaining confidence in awareness. This is the source of compassion: to allow everything about ourselves to be as it is.
You can feel yourself one with the One that exists.
The whole body becomes a mere power, a force-current.
Your life becomes a needle drawn to a huge mass of magnet and as you go deeper and deeper, you become a mere centre and then not even that, for you become a mere Consciousness;
there are no thoughts or cares any longer -- they were shattered at the threshold -- it is an inundation.
You, a mere straw, are swallowed alive, but it is very delightful, for you become the very thing that swallows you.
This is the union of jiva with Brahman, the loss of ego in the real Self, the destruction of falsehood, the attainment of Truth.

You don't have to feel that some place there is a real 'I'.
For what you're doing is you're making it sound as if there is you and the real 'I'.
There can never be you and the real 'I'.
There is only the real 'I', but because you don't really understand this fully the practice the Self-Inquiry has been given to you to get rid of the false 'I'.

Look within, approach with all devotion, stay as Heart.
Only adore yourself, worship your Self, and seek your Self, and the rest will be taken care of.
Avoid useless activities and pleasures.
Simply keep quiet, this is Sahaja Bhav, the natural state.

But people of the deepest understanding look within, distracted by nothing. Since a clear mind is the Buddha, they attain the understanding of a Buddha without using the mind.
Don't move.
Just die over and over.
Don't anticipate.
Nothing can save you now because you have only this moment. Not even enlightenment will help you now because there are no other moments. With no future, be true to yourself and express yourself fully. Don't move.

Let any amount of burden be laid on Him, He will bear it all. It is, in fact, the indefinable power of the Lord that ordains, sustains and controls everything that happens. Why then, should we worry, tormented by vexatious thoughts, saying: ‘Shall we act this way? No, that way,’ instead of meekly but happily submitting to that Power?
Meet you own Self.
Be with your own Self, listen to it, obey it, cherish it, keep it in mind ceaselessly.
You need no other guide.
Be with your own Self, listen to it, obey it, cherish it, keep it in mind ceaselessly.
You need no other guide.
Don't keep the past in your mind. You have to love the Self, if you don't you are rejected by the Self. Self stands with extended arms waiting for you, but you look somewhere else! "Come my child, it is enough! Now come to me and I will give you rest". But you don't listen, you just look to something else. Whose fault is this? The Beloved is waiting for you, but you are looking toward the red lights.
EVERYTHING IS PERFECT
Everything that happens inside and out is preordained by Ishwara, an agent of Brahman, for our spiritual development and must therefore be willed by us as well.
If we had three wishes they would be that things are only as they are, as they are, as they are.
If we are so willing then we are in harmony with the divine will,
for 'In His Will is our peace',
Welcoming the Lord to do whatever he wants with us.
As complete effacement of the egotistic will is necessary to conquer destiny.
So be it.

When the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to Pray.
Be light. Smile. Drop. Learn the tendency to drop and smile and move through.
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
