Don't worry about the ego. Just know, you are not the ego. The most important thing is to discover that it is watched, which means: You cannot be it. Therefore, don't identify with it. Then it starves from lack of attention and soon falls away.

If you are physically tired, it is a good tired.
It is experienced as a sweet exhaustion.
Your body needs it—fine.
But many are more psychologically, mentally
and emotionally exhausted.
That comes from thinking too much,
from being too much of a person.
Everyone is suffering from person-poison.
Too much person. You are too personal in the life.
That is how you become tired.
Look at this body.
This body is said to have all kind of things,
maybe it should not even be here right now.
But some power is moving within it,
and so the body does not get tired.
Why?
Because:
Everything is for Satsang.
Everything is for Truth.
Everything is for Love.
Everything is for you, actually.
Everything is for God.

Never assume that you have attained truth. Don't make any claim to knowledge. Form no conclusion or evaluation concerning truth. The minute you do, your downfall is assured. Whenever you imagine you know something, you cease being open to the living exploration. You have closed a door and cut off the oxygen to the breathing truth.

Get as much depressed as you want to.

upon yourself in order to realise the Self.
The Self is the most natural.

and entangled in so-called spiritual practices for self-realisation.
Though some practices are good and necessary,
many are aimed only at the ego.
Left unnoticed, they will keep you in a limited state of mind,
perhaps a spiritual mind even,
whereby you believe you are merely a 'person'
on the road to becoming the Self.
Your true Self however, does not need to practice anything,
for it is unchangingly perfect and timelessly present.

When trouble comes, it is a call to remember,
recognise and remain in the stillness of your Being.

Sometimes we compare what we perceive as the worst in others with the best in our self, as we perceive. Judgements are based like that and they come from the ego identity, you know. And for a long time its very difficult to stop that happening, until you begin to feel the pain of it, and you feel the claustrophobia of this way of thinking and being. So it happens. I don't know if there's anyone who has never judged, but you can move on beyond that... Everything comes to remind you of your Silence. Still, judgements come and they will come, they will come. Don't try so hard to stop judgements from coming. Only remember what you ARE. When you remember what you ARE, not just as a kind of trick but through direct recognition, then these judgements will not have a place to hold, or not just judgements but other forms of negative functioning of the mind. They will become more distant because you are learning and discovering how to be with your Self. That's the most important one to be with comfortably. When you're comfortable with your Self, you are automatically in the Presence of God. When you are comfortable with your Self, love flows toward other beings very easily; compassion and joy. Its such a wonderful discovering, you know, that doesn't end. That's why I say, "This is a fruit that is tasting sweeter and sweeter every day, but never becomes over sweet". This is the fruit of your Spirit and I am happy when people can come and taste for yourself.

The Self has no desires,
not even the desire to kill or transcend the ego.
For the Self, ego does not exist.

Find the Essence, and the transient will not disturb you. Be at the place of Zero. The Lord is waiting for you there. He is the Satguru inside you. When you spend time in this company, you'll forget about you. Let it be so. Let it be so. Hallelujah.

Praise be to God that such a simple path is opened in our generation of time. This joy, this presence, this power, is in the heart of every living being. This is the mystery, the paradox that it can be there unrecognized. All the while, this that we only are. What is marvellous is that I have not given to you something that is out of reach. It is not necessary to understand. Experience is greater than understanding.
Q: Why is this happening to me?

The ship is going by a mighty engine, and you are busy rowing.
Sometimes, Grace throws you and your ‘world’ into the washing machine, full spin, so that the fearful and controlling tendency is compelled to offer itself to the Totality—to the will and dance of the Cosmos.
When a man looks for experience he becomes the body.
When he looks for knowledge he becomes the mind.
When he looks for God he becomes the Heart.
When he looks for Truth he becomes Nothing.

Nothing has to be wrong for the mind

There only has to be a seed of a thought

And the mind says, ‘You see?
I’ve been trying to tell you!’ and there you go,
sailing off down the road with the unstable
and unreliable mind. It can happen just like this.
The mind doesn’t need any substance or truth.
You can give him anything.
He is like a goat—he eats anything.
And we are quick to believe anything it says.
Our life is chiefly made up of thoughts, interpretations
—and wrong interpretations also,
based upon fear, desire and rejection.
This is why I say: pay attention
to the sense of being—the Self.
Be one with the Self, rather than trying
to pick and choose through
the innumerable thoughts and sensations
that mind tends to see
—which one is true and which is false.
You can spend lifetimes doing this
and you will never come to the end of it.
As soon as you finish pruning this tree,
new leaves are coming.
So don’t waste time cleaning up the mind.
Stay as the Self. As you train your attention
and mind to stay as the Self, the space
in which the mind and person lives vanishes.
Thus you come to experience a completeness,
a contentment in just resting in and as the Self.
And when you are content, the interest
will fall away from these other rooms
and their contents.
The feeling of separation, or even union,
all of this becomes redundant as thoughts.
You simply are. There is a unity in that.
There is a harmony in this.
And where no doubts come,
there is even no need for union or separation.
You experience real unity
beyond even the concept of unity.
This is your natural state.
